Mower is a fiercely independent full-service advertising, marketing, and PR firm with over 10 locations across the United States. The Mower Media team has a terrific opportunity for a assistant media planner to assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of media campaigns across multiple media channels. This is an entry level position that will lead to the development of a media career. The position is essential to the day-to-day running of media accounts and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, and detail-oriented environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the media team with planning, buying, and reporting of media campaigns
  • Helps set up, manage, and execute a campaign throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Ensures proper entries into financial systems, including reconciliations
  • Pulls and interprets accounting and media reports to assist in hitting monthly payment and reconciliationgoals across all clients
  • Responsible for processing all monthly media vendor invoicing across traditional and digital tactics
  • Assist media lead with monthly client billing as needed
  • Analyzes media performance and develops of insights and recommended optimizations
  • Builds and maintains relationships with media partners
  • Participates in rate negotiation
  • Prepares campaign reporting
  • Implements tracking solutions
  • Maintain accurate, accessible, and organized documentation


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience; preferably agency experience or marketing-related internship
  • Strong written and verbal communication and people skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, media partners and internal teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Adaptable to change and the ability to multi-task
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing, technology-focused industry
