In cities across America demands for an end to racism are causing companies to reexamine policies to address diversity and inclusion. Companies are being challenged to take a stand. Meaningful progress will require a greater understanding of the elements that have allowed economic, law enforcement, judicial, health, housing, education and dozens of other forms of discrimination to persist.
Throughout our history, Mower has sought to contribute our talent and energy to social justice causes in the cities we call home. The urgent conversations taking place about racism in America challenge all of us to be more aware and focused. We are moving forward on several fronts to redouble our efforts to contribute to making meaningful progress on social justice, diversity, inclusion and equality. As a part of this effort, we are sharing a set of resources for communicators covering a range of diversity and inclusion topics. We hope this background is useful in your efforts to engage with key stakeholders and fight discrimination in all its destructive forms.
