Microsite and Ad Campaign Promote EMA’s Public Affairs Practice
SYRACUSE, NY — Eric Mower and Associates has launched a new microsite and advertising campaign promoting the firm’s Public Affairs services. In the era of ethics reform in New York State, the campaign highlights EMA’s history of helping clients move public opinion through open, honest and effective communications.
“The focus on transparency has driven unprecedented change in Albany,” said Gregory W. Loh, APR, managing partner, Public Relations and Public Affairs, EMA. “Achieving the outcome you want is impossible today without the public on your side. To succeed in this new environment, you need a communications strategy to manage relationships with all of your stakeholders, not just the people who will be making the decisions.”
EMA offers a full range of public relations and public affairs capabilities, including public opinion polling, communications strategy, media and community relations, media training, managing public meetings, spokesperson training, and crisis and issues management. EMA’s team of experienced public affairs counselors have backgrounds in journalism, government, industry associations and corporate communications, and are experienced at working alongside legal, environmental, and other outside counsel in helping clients listen to and communicate with all of the stakeholders involved in an issue.
The ad campaign can be seen and heard on the Capitol Pressroom (hosted by Susan Arbetter), Time Warner's Capital Tonight program, and the Fred Dicker Show on WGDJ-AM Talk 1300. Print and banner ads appear online and in the Albany Times Union, the Capital District Business Review, the Capitol and the 2011 PRSA Northeast District Conference program.
The microsite, www.mower.com/publicaffairs, provides details on how EMA approaches its clients’ challenges and the practice’s capabilities, including regulatory approvals, environmental issues and siting, reputation management and government communications.
