Honeywell’s Onondaga Lake Cleanup

After centuries of industrial use and contamination, Onondaga Lake is one of the largest and most complex Superfund projects in the Unites States. EMA assisted Honeywell with their media relations and community outreach and provided strategic counsel in support of their remediation efforts.

With a statewide radio, television, online and social media campaign, EMA helped New York State Association of REALTORS convince Albany lawmakers to pass a 2% property tax cap.

EMA's coordinated Public Affairs campaign helped alleviate a community's concerns about a proposed wind farm by communicating the true benefits of this clean, renewable power source.

Project Siting:
The Champlain Hudson Power Express

Transmission Developers Inc. is seeking approval for the Champlain Hudson Power Express, one of the largest and most expensive private investments in New York State’s history. EMA handles public outreach, media and public affairs support for this transmission line which will extend from Canada to New York City.
